So what I want to talk about today and show you is what is good posture A lot of people carry their head a little forward which we will talk about on another video because the head actually does get heavier for every little centimeter that it goes forward
So we want to take care of that and we also don't want to just put our back up against a wall and straighten everything or try to just put our shoulders back All that is exhausting and it doesn't work So good posture is you stick your tushie out, your chin in All the things us women don't want to do and relax it about 10 percent So if you walk like this at first it feel really kind of strange but for a few days just get used to it and see if people don't come up and say oh God you look good
There is just something that happens with it So it is tushie out, chin in and then relax What that does naturally is it kind of has us tightening our abdomen so don't be robotic and don't move around like you have to hold it like that Just kind of get into that and you can still move your head and you can still move around So let me have you go ahead and sit down
The next phase of it and go ahead and come up So when you sat down you went forward to sit and forward and flex to get up If we do that every time it is called a micro trauma For most people with back pain you don't want to be doing flexing which is why when they are doing the dishes or doing something that you are bending forward a lot of people complain and say their back hurt them more So if you get the posture right think of it from here up stays the same so that when you go to sit down you are actually just sitting down and it becomes habit, you don't even have to think about it and when you get up it is the same thing
You just go ahead and get up Always remember to sit as far as back in the seat as you can, especially if you are going to be using a computer or doing something like that and just move the whole chair closer to the keyboard So good, so that is good posture
